Saturday, September 28th was a great time for visitors to the park. First, it was Bark in the Park day. It’s a special day when we celebrate our love of dogs and shower them with attention and gifts! Dogs come to walk in the park every day, but on one special day each year, we invite them all to join us for a really fun day.
We had tons of sponsors and participants this year:
Owners and their dogs posed together at the funny-face stand-in for a perfect photo op (at least those who could get their dogs to put their face through the hole.) There was a Pooch Pool Party, and a Dog Bone Kissing Booth. It was an opportunity for beloved pets to become Bark Rangers!!!
This was also National Public Lands Day, and we had lots of volunteers helping us clean up the park!
Check out photos of each of these events on our Fun, Fun, Fun page!
