May 7th, 2024 – Thanks to your support and donations, board members from The Friends of Barr Lake presented Barr Lake State Park, with a check for a little over $9,000 today. This matches the Adams County Parks / Adams County Open Space grant Barr Lake State Park received recently to help fund the Bergman Barn Renovation Project.
Again, we couldn’t have done it without your support, our important volunteers, and our community sponsors for your generous time and donations. We would like to thank Colorado Parks and Wildlife, the staff at Barr Lake State Park, and ACSO for their collaboration in preserving an important part of Brighton’s history.
