Friends of Barr Lake is a 501(c)(3) non – profit organization dedicated to supporting Barr Lake State Park. Friends accomplishes this by providing monetary support for educational programs, interpretive signs, and special events and projects. You can help with these goals by becoming a member of Friends of Barr Lake or renewing your membership. Being a member of Friends of Barr Lake has its privileges! Your membership and donations may be tax deductible.

I’m a member and just wondering how you folks are faring during the time of COVID-19. Are you still an active group?

Hi Mary, yes we are still an active organization! We have been working on a sensory garden at the Bird Conservancy of the Rockies that we got a grant for, we helped with Lake Appreciation Day, and we are planning a drive-in movie soon! The board members have been meeting virtually and still keeping active at the park!
